Former Hockey Player Sean Pronger is the inspiration behind JRNYMN wear, a line of clothing that pays homage to the true love behind hockey fans.
Sean Pronger (the real life journeyman, 16 teams in 11 years throughout professional hockey) was asked to write some articles and blogs for hockey fans, his goal was to tell about the realities of ajourneyman professional hockey player and all the trials and tribulations that he experienced firsthand. Not every professional player is a superstar and many fans don’t realize the tough road that awaits a journeyman -the long, lonely life on the road , the highs and lows of trying to make it , and of course – the true commitment and undying love for the game itself. He decided to sign off on each of his written pieces as the JOURNEYMAN ….little did he know at the time a brand was born.
After his first few blogs and articles went live, he received a ton of positive feedback and many of his fans were asking for shirts or hats to show their support for the JOURNEYMAN. With the help of his wife, they made up a few shirts and handed out to friends and family. But like anything, life gets in the way , things get put on hold and ultimately left behind….luckily the shirts were rediscovered , the idea of a journeyman brand was revived and with the help of some passionate friends , the new look JRNYMN was born.
